Wild asparagus (1 May 2022)

Saw a Spanish neighbour with a bag collecting wild asparagus. He was kind enough to show which plant. Only one left!  (Probably that is why)

The plant is a horribly prickly plant that grows all over here. To get at the asparagus, actually the new shoots for the plant's branches, you need to access the center of that plant. Leather gloves are not optional.
