Telkens als het regende en hard waaide, zoals vandaag, knippert de elektriciteit. En daarmee het licht, en de computers, en (slik!) het internet, en dat willen we niet. Vandaag werd het geknipper begeleid door knallen en geknetter buiten. Na een paar keer zag ik wat het was: vonken (in het Spaans heten die chispas) bovenin de elektriciteitspaal even buiten ons land bij het niet meer gebruikte waterpompstation. En, tegelijkertijd: vonken bij het elektriciteitshuis aan de andere kant van ons huis. Maar eens even Endesa waarschuwen. Ze kwamen binnen het uur met een hoogwerker, en hebben denk ik de connectie afgesloten.

Today the blinking was accompanied by loud cracks outside. After a few times I saw that this was caused by sparks (chispas in Spanish) at the top of the electricity pole near the unused water pumping station. Called the electricity company, who were here within the hour with a platform car. Hopefully it's disconnected and stable now.
