The Chlorinator
All very well, but there still is an electrical system to switch on to disinfect and clear the water: the chlorinator that is part of a saltwater pool.
This very interesting box has a lot of switches, an RCD, and a timer clock, etc. But, the swimming pool computer also has two timers. Which controls which here? The constructor, plumber and electricien did not know. Right.
Time for engineer Jansen to temporarily be not be a pensionista, and get to work.
There are two options.
A. you control the pump using the timer clock in the box on the right. If you have connected the whit cable as indicated in the installation manual's paragraph 3.3.3.1 and removed jumper LK2 from the motherboard of the computer, the computer checks if the pomp is getting power. As soon as that is the case the chlorination program starts. The two screw connectors are labelled "filtro0" and "filtro1" for clarity.
B. you control everything with the pool computer. You need an external relais to switch on/off the pump. We don't have that external relais, so we opt for option A.
(Jumper LK2 is now stored at the bottom of the computer box, under a piece of tape, to prevent losing it.)
The white cable is highlighted orange in this schematic. For clarity.
There was a little grid covering the entrance of the suction pipe the pump uses to suck water from the reservoir to the filter. The pump stopped twice, all by itself, and was quite warm. We think the grid was a bit too small. And it does not stop drowned wasps entering the suction pipe and ending up in the pump's fiter. Here is the engineer Jansen™ solution

Balsa day 6
The plastic is sealed with heat.
Ready! Tomorrow we'll have it filled with water. Then it needs to settle a bit, and then the fence is built. And, we can fill the swimming pool! The experts differ in opinion on the time it takes to fill the pool. One expert says "an entire day", the other expert says "three hours". We'll see who wins the prize.

Pizza Brandenburgo
Pizza Olé I can handle (tomato, cheese, bacon, ham, mushrooms, quails eggs, chorizo, roquefort),
Pizza Musaka sounds good (aubergine, tomato with mince, cheese and parmesan),
Pizza Tandoori is very appetising (tomato, onion, lemon, mozarella, tandoori chicken),
But, Pizza Brandenburgo, that's way out of line (potato mash with nuts, bratwurst, brie, gouda and beer-marmalade).
Bwêrk!

Trusses from Thomann, or not?
3 days ago:
Do you know web shops that advertise goods as "in stock", or "in stock in 2-5 days", and the moment you ordered suddenly appear to have no stock, and delay delivery? www.thomann.de is such a shop. The moment we ordered one of the items had a 2-5 days in stock time, but when I looked later "June 15", that is in 3 weeks. Plus delivery time.
Of course you at first hope that is because of your order, so their stock is depleted, and the new stock will ariive in 3 weeks, but no.
"Unfortunately, the supplier has delay with this item."
The terms&conditions of Thomann state that "In such a case, the customer shall be notified immediately", but even that: no. I just happened to look, and saw the new date. For the time being I think Thomann is an untrustworthy party that shifts its responsibility to its supplier. If I happen to see the goods somewhere else I'll cancel the order. Assh*les.

Balsa day 6
Balsa ready for PE liner.
Trench for the 6cm tube to the pool and garden.
And, another tube broken.
*blub*
Quickly repaired.
But, the very last moment our Galasa drinking water conduit was pulled by the digger. And that is a drag, because that conduit is connected to a connector under our (new) terrace. The water tube was surrounded by another tube for extra protection. But, alas, that is not such a great idea. When such a conduit is dug up such a tube does not break,
but instead is torn from it's connector. If you put a single tube in the ground it simply breaks when dug up, and is easily repaired.
Here the tube was torn from it's connector, which is located 50 cm within the terrace border. A terrace that was finished today, and was pressure cleaned just a few hours ago, because it was finally finished.
So, just a few hours later a piece of concrete and two tiles were sawn out of the terrace to reconnect the tube to the connector. It was very very kind they did that on a late Friday evening, without complaining,
because we cannot be without water right now. We need to keep the pool wet, else the gresites fall off.
