Balsa

Vandaag wordt begonnen aan onze "balsa", zo noemen ze hier een waterreservoir voor irrigatiewater, ofwel "agua riega". We hebben rechten voor agua riega. Dat is nodig voor de tuin, maar, vooral ook voor het zwembad. Drinkwater is hier duur, en je mag er geen 61m³ van tappen voor je zwembad, want dan krijg je een boete. Van wel 3000€, zegt men. De balsa is wat dringend, want als het zwembad klaar is en de gresites geplakt zijn, moet er binnen een dag of twee water in, anders vallen de gresites er af, en daar wordt iedereen maar erg verdrietig van.

Er is wat discussie over de lokatie van de buizen voor agua riega, die in een ver verleden zijn aangelegd. Ondertussen is men een beetje vergeten waar ze precies liggen. Gabriël, de lokale water-man zegt A, maar de buurman zegt B. Hopelijk liggen de buizen niet precies op de plek van onze balsa. Als dat wel het geval is merken we dat wel, en moet de buis omgelegd worden, en wordt e.e.a. weer ietsje duurder. (Een paar honderd euro.)
